Emu oil is not used as a skin care product purely for its claimed anti-inflammatory properties. Emu oil is also an excellent moisturizer, but, unlike many other oils, studies have shown it won't clog up skin pores. There have been no adverse effects reported from emu oil's use and research points towards it being anti-allergenic. Emu oil is also very quickly absorbed by skin, leaving no long lasting greasy residue.
A lot of emu oil's properties are thought to be due to the oil's unique fatty acid make up, with it containing Omegas 3, 6 (the essential fatty acids) and 9. These Omegas are needed for good health and are used as building blocks by the body's cells. The Omegas are used in reactions by the cells that ultimately lead to anti-inflammatory actions. Studies have shown these Omegas are needed for healthy skin and that they can help with conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Dimensions 6" across 4" Height, please make sure before ordering that you ask any questions you might have. We will not except returns on used soap, brush, or mugs. We will consider returns on an individual basis. Prior consent must be submitted before return. Most returns will receive an "in store credit" if mug is returned in re-sellable condition.
